SGA is considering whether or not to recognize Greeks and the resident halls as independent organizations for funding. All funded organizations need to have the betterment of academics as part of their goal and Greeks and resident halls may not fit this model. President Halligan recommended SGA talk to Dr. Lee Bird regarding this issue. They are also looking at raising the funding cap for organizations. SGA has also had two groups of guest speakers: 1) the City of Stillwater was asked to discuss the new ordinances limiting the number of non-related individuals living in a house in some parts of the city; and 2) the Athletic Department came to clear up some misunderstandings about the new OSU logo.
