Faculty Council Meeting

President Halligan called the meeting to order with the following members present: Binegar, Bost, Breazile, Comer, Dickman, Dohoney, Eastman, Edgley, Fletcher, Fournier Gregson, Hoffer, Holcombe, Hsu, Hyle, Johannes, Kimbrell, Martin, Mayer, Peeper, Sanders, Schestokat, Warde, Weeks, and Wetzel. Also present: R. Area, L. Bird, H. Birdwell, S. Harp, J. Hodgson, R. Hundley, W. King, E. Knobbe, G. Lage, E. Mitchell, V. Mitchell, M. Mowen, J. Paustenbaugh, A. Ryburn, J. Van Delinder, and J. Vitek. Absent: Achemire, Caneday, Masters, Peck, and Veenstra.

Bjorn Martin was elected unanimously as a new member of Council to replace Steve Hallgren through May 31, 2001.

James Breazile moved acceptance of the December 12, 2000, Minutes. Ken Eastman seconded the motion. The Minutes were approved. James Breazile moved acceptance of the January 9, 2001 Agenda. Ken Eastman seconded the motion. The Agenda was approved.

The meeting adjourned at 4:25 p.m. The next regular meeting of the Faculty Council is February 13, 2001.
